Honey... I AM the HELP!

If you are like me you like working on your knitting or crocheting but not the tedious work of trying to keep track of every row, stitch and pattern. However, unfortunately unless you keep good track your project is never going to look like the pattern picture! It won’t look good or fit correctly, so you really have to, as you already know, keep track of all those things.

So how do you accomplish it? If you are like me you might use paper and pencil, or run a copy of the pattern and keep a pencil nearby. But if you miss one stitch, one slash on the paper you’re doomed. The part I hate is finishing a row or pattern repeat and then having to look away from my work to figure out where I am in the pattern, and then making my mark before I can go back and find where I am working again. So how do I get around this and what am I using to do that?
