Why’s it Called Moscow Chicken?
My friend, Amy, is always great for experimenting with new recipes. Today she made her family this Moscow Chicken recipe. Why’s it called Moscow Chicken you ask? Well, because it uses RUSSIAN dressing I answer!
Amy tells me via Facebook that she hadn’t made this slow-cooker recipe prior to today but that “The whole family liked it!” Amy added a side of rice and mixed veggies and her meal was complete. I bet her home smelled wonderful all day!
- 6 chicken thighs
- 6 slices bacon
- 2 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
- 2 green onions, chopped
- ½ teaspoon grated ginger root
- 1 (10 fluid ounce) bottle Russian-style salad dressing
- salt and pepper to taste

Since Amy lives too far to just pop in for dinner I am adding it to our family’s dinner menu next week! I’ll dress it out with wide buttered egg noodles and freshly steamed broccoli. Thanks Amy!
