So What’s Up With Pinterest?
I have belonged to Pinterest for some time now. I am still amazed at all my friends that don’t even know what it is. While I haven’t been on as long as some others I think it’s the greatest! Right now it is invitation only, but if you email me through our contact page (see the top of this one) I’ll be sure to get you one!
So what is Pinterest? It’s kind of like a social bulletin board! You join, set up a simple page and then you “pin” favorite things you like from the web on virtual bulletin “boards” you set up. That’s the gist of it and it’s pretty simple to use and you can use it, like they mention in the video below, to get projects organized, or just remember recipes you might want to try, projects for around the house, ideas for crafts or gifts, you’re only limited by your own imagination!
So just who IS using Pinterest??? Mashable reported this week that Oscar de la Renta was going to use it to pin their fashions LIVE from their bridal show this week! Stay with us to see who is is using this great new social network, which is 3rd only to Facebook and Twitter!
