DIY Alternative Easter Baskets, Eggs & Crafts
Some families like to have firm traditions and never deviate from them, like their Easter baskets or eggs. Growing up in my family we had the same baskets from the time we were born until we left the house. I would say stopped hunting for them, but my mom would still make us a basket regardless if we still hunted it down. The only way you graduated to a nicer, bigger basket (not that it ever held any extra) is when an older sibling left the nest and you were next in line to inherit! LOL!
I thought it might be fun today to investigate some alternatives to traditional Easter baskets and eggs. I thought it might be interesting to dye eggs with kool-aid like Michelle did over on her Simplify, Live, Love blog and a whole lot more.
